Lizet Dingemans
Lizet Dingemans was born in Helmond, the Netherlands in 1990. At the age of 21, she went to Florence to study Fine Art at Angel Academy which gave her the inspiration to continue her art career in London as a student at the London Atelier of Representational Art (LARA). Before graduating, she won the 2015 Royal Society of British Artists Charitable Trust Award.
Since then she has become a full-time artist and teacher. Her paintings have since sold in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and the USA. In 2016 her work was acquired for the MEAM Museum in Barcelona, Spain. In the summer of 2017 she was commissioned to take part in The Freemasons exhibition held at The Grand Lodge in London. In early 2018 she featured on Sky Arts’ “Portrait Artist of The Year”.
Lizet combines techniques used by the Old Masters with more contemporary ideas, and she has received critical acclaim from many areas of the art world.
She lives and works in London, and exhibits as a member of her London Art Collective, Lot 5.
